About My Approach

First and foremost- I believe that each person is the expert on themselves- and I help my clients get more clear about what they want, need and desire.

I take an intersectional-feminist approach to all of the work that I do- which means that I think about how a person's gender, race, sexuality, body, socioeconomic status, culture of origin, and abilities shape the way they are treated in society and how they think about the world.

I advocate for equal power in relationships, and help people break through harmful messages they've learned from their culture.

I help people break through shame and unhelpful messages they have learned about sex, intimacy and pleasure so that they can better explore their erotic language: what turns them on and gets them off!

I hold a B.S. from Stetson University in Sociology (2008), and an M.A. from the University of South Florida in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2014). I am a currently enrolled in a clinical sexology doctoral program at the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.
